About
A Microsoft practice built for outcomes, not hours
FrontierX Technologies is a Microsoft Solutions Partner that designs, builds, and runs Microsoft-based platforms for organisations that need enterprise results without enterprise drag.
Our story
Founded in 2019 to close a gap we kept running into
FrontierX Technologies started with a small group of consultants who had spent years watching the same pattern repeat: an organisation buys a capable Microsoft estate, then uses a fraction of it. The licences are paid for. The platform is there. What is missing is someone who will sit with the business long enough to understand the work, and who has the engineering depth to change how it runs.
So the firm was built around that gap. We deliberately stayed narrow — Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, security, and the data and AI layer that sits across them — because depth in one ecosystem is worth more to a client than a brochure covering five. Every consultant here works inside that stack every week, which is why our estimates hold up.
The way we work follows from the same idea. Engagements start with discovery that produces a priced statement of work, not an open-ended tap. Teams stay small and senior, so the person who scoped the project is the person who delivers it. We configure before we build, and we say so when the honest answer is that you already own the tool you need. Then we stay through hypercare and beyond, because a platform nobody adopts is a project nobody should have paid for.

Values
Four commitments we are willing to be held to
They are not posters. They are the arguments we have internally when a decision is close.
Say the true thing
Including when it costs us scope. Clients keep us because our estimates hold, not because our pitches were exciting.
Own the outcome
Delivery does not end at deployment. If it is not adopted, it is not delivered.
Simplify first
The best solution is usually a configuration change nobody had time to find. We look for it before we quote a build.
Teach as we go
Every engagement leaves your team more capable. Dependency is not a business model we want.
How we work
The operating principles behind every engagement
Four things clients tell us are different about working with us — and the reasons they are true.
Microsoft-first, not Microsoft-only
We build on the licences you already own, and say so when a third-party tool is the honest answer.
Senior people on the work
The consultant in your scoping call is the consultant on your project. No bait-and-switch staffing.
Fixed-scope, fixed-price options
Discovery ends with a priced statement of work, not an open-ended time-and-materials tap.
We stay after go-live
Hypercare, managed services, and a named engineer who already knows your estate.
Leadership
The people accountable for the work
Practice leads stay close to delivery. Each of them still carries client engagements.
Alex Rivera
Managing Director
Sets the delivery standard the firm is measured against, and still sits in on scoping calls.
Jordan Chen
Director, Cloud & Infrastructure
Leads landing zone and migration work, with a bias toward platforms clients can run themselves.
Samira Okafor
Director, Business Applications
Maps revenue and service processes before touching configuration, and keeps custom code rare.
Riley Nakamura
Director, Security & Data
Owns the security and Copilot readiness practice, including the evidence auditors ask for.

Tell us what is not working, and we will tell you what it takes to fix it
A scoping conversation costs you an hour. You leave it with a point of view on sequence, effort, and what your existing licences already cover.
